The Future of the Past - Prints + Book
The Future of the Past is an editorial-style conceptual fashion photography book, shot in Berlin, Nürnberg and München, that incorporates visual references to and iconic themes of 1930/40's Nazi Germany in a hyperbolic blend of timeless architecture, modern couture and contemporary fashion elements, propaganda images and symbology. The wardrobe was created in collaboration with fashion stylist Rafael Wodynski and costume designer Julia Rogge.
Limited exhibition prints (120x80cm, giclée on canvas, individually numbered and signed) are partly sold out, please inquire by e-mail on the current status of availability of the remaining pieces and future editions.
The general response during the exhibition has been great and I would like to address the countless inquiries regarding a book release. As of now, The Future of the Past has only been produced in perfect photo print quality for presentation purposes with a unit price tag that is far too high to consider releasing it with. I am now looking into publisher options, so stay tuned for future updates.
More information on the presentation in Berlin coming soon.
Good night, and good luck.
